According to the findings, one of the angry youth allegedly struck a soldier on the head with a stick, provoking the soldiers, who then reportedly lost control and began firing at the youth as the situation turned violent. As the youth rushed to their homes to arm themselves, the soldiers fled the scene after seeing the youth gathering in large numbers. One youth, identified as a son of Awan Chief Ayuen Ajak, was seriously injured in the knee.
