This happens at my job and I feel confident I can pinpoint who is on the bs. It just reminds me that I’m making them uncomfortable because my presence, strong work ethic, and competence makes them feel insecure. My work speaks for itself and disturbs their mediocre status quo simultaneously. I ain’t mad though. I realize their backbiting is a reflection of their insecurities so I leave them to deal with it. I let adults handle their own issues as I handle my own.
