@mysticseaportmuseum: Shipwrights in the Henry B. du Pont Preservation Shipyard are sawing out futtocks for the L.A. DUNTON as part of the historic fishing schooner’s multi-year restoration. Multiple futtocks are fastened together to form the frames that make up the structure of large wooden vessels like L.A. DUNTON. To cut each piece, shipwrights use a 1930s-era ship saw built by the J.
