I’ve read Heat 2, it’s a good book (doesn’t come close to the original movie). Any part that Inde would have wouldn’t really have much to do. She made the right call. Quite a double standard for people to say she sold out when Christian Bale played Batman three times.

Heat was great but I’m not sure how exited I am about the sequel. It’s a great cast but it will have to bring a lot more to the story. I like Indies call, X-men reboot will be harder to be a failure, IMO.

People forget we work in a business and people need to pay their bills and have families to take care of. They do this to directors when they go from indie to studio films, sorry but people need to make money too in order to make the small indies too.

have they forgotten that bale and leo have been in their fair share of action movies….😭 also marvel has gotten some praise in recent years with thunderbolts, fantastic 4 and brand new day, which were much better than other 2020s marvel movies lol.

People are acting like she chose between those two projects for the rest of her career 😭 when no they probably film around the same time so it was one or the other so yeah she’d rather do a franchise than a movie that no one knows if anyone cares about. She obviously will have other movies come out before and after this

every other day on the internet, people show how little they understand about film and television and trying to have a sustainable career in either. most actors are paycheck to paycheck, especially since streaming killed residuals, so picking financial security over nebulous "prestige" is incredibly valid of her. her career won't end after one franchise like god.

Marvel saved rdj’s career btw, and the two highest grossing actresses scarlet Johansson and Zoe Saldana (less on Zoe) are known for marvel. This also allows creatives who work on marvel/dc movies can make more creative risks after starting out in the film industry

I thought it seemed like a good career move. No way to know if heat 2 will be good/successful so many years after the first but Marvel means a locked in franchise and screen time to leverage towards more roles. Good for her!
