He was innocent of what happened in Malmedy. He wasn't there, he didn't give orders, and besides, the Americans did the same thing days before. (The case was forgotten after Malmedy was discovered.)

Why edit a man who has done such horrible things? I’d understand if it was a commander who was actually good at what they done but controversial figures like this shouldn’t get any praise. They don’t deserve to be remembered
