The debt debate needs context. Kenya’s public debt rose from about KSh1.8T to KSh8.6T close to 10T by 2022. Ruto inherited heavy repayment obligations, yet has had to borrow while funding development and servicing maturing debts to keep the economy afloat. The challenge is balancing development with the debt burden he inherited not simply borrowing for its own sake.HE IS FIT FOR THE JOB. ✌️

The 27% growth in debt can be accounted for with the developments we are seeing throughout the nation in the so called “shinny” thing compared to the 550% growth in debt in previous regime that can not be accounted for by any “shinny” things. Anybody trying to tell us about “fixing the country” by taking us back is living in past. TUTAM IS UNSTOPPABLE
