that would be incredible, but my internal partner tends to take my attempts at regulating the situation (for example 'how about I give you an hour to think and we can come back to this') as pushy, forcing him to do something or just an attack.

When problem-solving I have to say the bad solutions because it helps me get to the good solutions.My husband’s like why would you even suggest something like that, it obviously won’t work. I KNOW!! but I have to lay out every possible option. The bad ones, AND the good ones be able to make a decision. And sometimes the bad ideas make you think of something else that actually is a good idea that you never would’ve thought of if you wouldn’t of said the stupid idea 😂

I’m a external processor and my husband is an internal processor and he lights on the first idea I have and goes with it like we actually decided while I’m still thinking about it before I have a solid answer.
