Banks. Dealerships. Medical offices. Warehouses. Manufacturing facilities. Local businesses. I’m walking in, introducing myself and figuring out one thing: Who makes the decision about janitorial services? Then I’m getting their name, their contact information and I’m following up. And following up again. When you’re trying to land your FIRST commercial account, you don’t need 100 businesses to say yes. You need ONE. One account gives you recurring revenue. One account gives you experience. One account gives you a reference. And one account gives you something to build from. Eventually, you can become selective about exactly which types of contracts you want. But in the beginning? Get out there and start creating opportunities.
