I used to wait cruise ship wawes when I was a kid. We had a holiday home/cabin in archipelago here in Finland, near by was fairway that Silja Line and Viking Line cruise ships used to use. I had to wait about 10-15 minutes and then the wawes hit our rocky beach, those wawes was huge, great fun to watch when you are 5-7yo kid😅 And those ships, I remember one of the biggest was Silja Festival, you can google it👌🏻 That was late 80's.

was fishing a small shallow cut on the upper miss when a cargo ship came through and yup I was bottomed out completely and stuck then boom flash flood! was so neat.
