Have you considered reaching out to KCRA? The district will more than likely try to brush you off. I would also contact a lawyer. The one word districts hate the most is lawsuit. This is totally unacceptable and the more publicity you put out there the more chances this will be dealt with. I would also make sure his teacher is personally held responsible.

My son was choked and slammed against a wall in 6th for dressing like Spider-Man. When I requested the video footage. They said it wasn’t near a camera. Lie. We got statements from many students! I filed a police report. I looked for an attorney but they said the school districts have their own courts and no attorney would take the case. This was in Yuba city. The principal had 3 other assault cases and had finally been demoted to teacher. Still not fired. They probably won’t do anything nor will they provide enough evidence.
