@our_untamed_journey: Day 1 in Botswana 🇧🇼 We entered Bots at the Stockpoort Border Post. Jarod’s first time EVER leaving the country! And a very easy border crossing 🥳 We made our way to Khama Rhino Sanctuary. We stopped in Palapye to grab some groceries and fill up our car and jerry cans. Very easy, smooth roads to Khama, no issues! We arrived at 14:00 and went straight to our campsite. We stayed at campsite number 6. After checking out the ablutions and our camp, we headed out on an afternoon game drive and enjoyed the birds of Khama! Back at camp we set up a fire and made our braaibroodjies 😍 we had a few visitors in camp 🦓 and severely underestimated how cold Botswana winters can get! 🤣 I don’t think Jarod has ever been so cold in his life.
