the detailed shading on the chest and hip/thigh area accentuates how tight the suit is and draws a lottt of attention to the shape of the body beneath it. especially with the contours of the chest and in the way the flesh is gripped by the suit at the thighs; you don't usually see those details so deliberately rendered in art unless the intent is to eroticize the subject, which is probably why your depiction of a child in this manner makes people uncomfortable.

you don't have his body proportions correct. you gave him the body type of a Lolita or shota by giving him unnecessary chubbiness on his belly and especially on the thighs. elongate his limbs and try to not over render next time ;) (I sometimes make that error it's normal). especially in animation you should put less detail and effort compared to your normal art style which is for artworks.
