@ellagracebayley: So this happened… I RANG THE BELL. This year has tested me in ways I could never have imagined. There have been tears, fear and some incredibly hard days, but also so much love, laughter and JOY. This is a chapter I never asked for, but one I will never, ever forget. It’s changed me more than I can put into words. I still have no idea what the future looks like from here… but I’m here, I’m grateful, and I’m so ready to LIVE. To every single person who has loved me, supported me, messaged me and followed this journey — thank you from the bottom of my heart. You’ll never know how much it has meant. A special shoutout to my family, and especially my Mama. I really am the luckiest girl in the world to be part of such a special, loving family. Thank you for caring for me, holding me up, crying with me and, most importantly, laughing with me through it all. You somehow made even the hardest days feel a little lighter. I couldn’t have done this without you. My safe place, always. And another very special shoutout to Addenbrooke’s Hospital Young Cancer Ward — a place filled with so much love. I genuinely adore every single person who works there and, as strange as it sounds, I’m going to miss seeing you all. You are true angels and I will never be able to thank you enough for everything you’ve done for me. I owe you more than words could ever say. I love you, divas ;) Ringing the bell came with a lot of nerves for me, and you might wonder why? Throughout this journey I’ve met some truly incredible people fighting cancer, some who have been fighting for far longer than I have, and that’s something that stays with you. A huge part of me now feels so deeply about giving something back and helping my friends who are still fighting too. This might be the end of my treatment, but it definitely isn’t the end of this journey for me. Watch this space… because me and a few very special people have some slightly crazy things planned to raise as much money as we possibly can for some incredible charities, and I honestly couldn’t be more excited for what’s to come.
