Basically saying if you don’t look the part, how can anyone take you seriously. I didn’t realize mental health had a look. I don’t understand how people impacted by any mental illness aren’t outraged by the dismissiveness and misinformation that the prosecution has spread during this trail. If we really want the jury to agree with the state’s argument then it would be a huge step backwards for the mental health community.

You know what really pissed me off? Hearing her say that the hospital offered her three options for treatment and that was very kind and thoughtful of them to do. Are you freaking kidding me?!?! They are required by law to do that. It’s not them being kind. That comment would turn me off if I was on that jury. making the medical institution look like it’s going above and beyond when we all know from experience that’s not the case.
