@coach__bm: This is one of the longest-running nutrition myths. People still treat carbs like the enemy — cutting rice, bread, fruit, and potatoes thinking that’s the secret to staying lean. But the truth is simpler. Fat gain happens when you consistently eat more calories than your body burns. It doesn’t matter if those extra calories come from carbs, fats, or even protein. A surplus is a surplus. Carbs can make it easier to overeat because they’re often in tasty, low-satiety foods (think chips, sweets, big bowls of pasta). But the carbs themselves aren’t uniquely fattening. In a calorie deficit, you can eat plenty of carbs and still lose fat. Plenty of studies and real-world examples prove this. Here’s what actually matters: •  Total calories over time •  Protein intake (helps with fullness and muscle) •  Food quality and how full the meals keep you •  Your activity level and training Carbs are also useful. They fuel hard training, support recovery, refill muscle glycogen, and help keep hormones and performance in a good place — especially if you’re lifting consistently. So no, carbs don’t make you fat. Overeating does. You can include them, enjoy them, and still get lean as long as the overall energy balance is right. Drop a 🔥 if you’ve not been scared of carbs for no reason.
