Own nothing and be happy. I think companies are doing away dvds totally different thing but the same, eventually going to have to stream to see anything. Internet goes out you cant watch movies, play video games just to much faith in the internet companies.

y'all do realize say you make Sony go bankrupt do you realize the gaming companies they own meaning if Sony goes so does them and they won't make anymore as well since Sony owns them meaning the patenent,the gaming software everything they make gaming wise will no longer aloud to be made since they are under contract so it doesnt just affect Sony it affects them as well 🤦

You need to not turn on the ps5 completely, don’t even sign in to your account, delete the phone app, don’t use a portal, hell don’t even use a Dualsense on PC…can’t go part way with it

If you own a physical game and Sony decides to remove the digital game, that means that they will shut down the serve servers that allow you to play the game. Am I missing something?

I respect the movement, but not everyone has a ten-foot wall of physical media, multiple consoles, or a two-thousand-dollar spec'd-out PC to lean on during an indefinite boycott. Many of us saved for years just to afford a single console, so refusing to use it feels like a total waste of money and leaves people with no gaming options at all. While I plan to expand my options over time, this is my reality right now, and many consumers are in the exact same boat—an aspect of this boycott that people seem to conveniently ignore. I've seen so many gaming creators on this platform as well as YouTube discussing this topic standing in front of massive collections and multiple systems, speaking from a position of privilege that allows them to participate in a prolonged boycott without missing out. Very few are addressing how this impacts budget-conscious gamers, or the long-term damage it could do to the gaming industry as a whole. I really don't think this boycott was thoroughly thought through.

Yall do realize that they have already taken away physical. When you insert it now it has to install and update the game with an internet connection. The disc is nothing more than a key to play that game
