Correct me if I’m wrong, this is only my second season, but didn’t Mallory and Melody fully intend to break the mosh pit and put icons up? Now that the alliance broke they’re screaming mad in confessionals? Upset that Dee broke an alliance that they also were gonna break? They were never staying loyal to Dee. The mosh pit was always temporary. Now they’re screaming mad bc she did the same thing they were gonna do? The anger just doesent land for me at all (I may a little biased bc Dee is one of my very fave survivor players but I try to take that out of it here)

I keep needing to emphasize too that Mallory (and Melody) did nothingggg to strengthen their relationship with Dee. I can understand throwing it to Dee but in that case you HAVE to be attached to her and work on building that bond. I don’t remember them talking to her at all while she was HOH!!! Especially compared to Haley who basically moved into the HOH room to repair with Dee/the icons. They thought one alliance convo LAST week would be enough to secure safety lol

The icons have had some blatant advantages, especially early on. But let’s not gloss over the fact that all the other houseguests basically had playbooks on how Dee, Devins and Angela typically operate. Whilst the new players came into the house with unknown strengths and weaknesses, methods of thinking, and motivations. The icons and their styles of gameplay are known, use that! Or, ignore it and crash out. 🙃
