Bro, I literally almost DNF Quicksilver in the first chapters because what do you mean this is a dessert world with two suns. Is always daytime. Nobody has more than 6 onz of water ✨GREY WATER✨ a day, so is for drinking. And Saeris is always running and traversing thru sewers, or in a forge. She knows not what is a shower, or a bath… and Carrion Swift used to eat that up? So much so after months, maybe years. Kingfisher is able to track down Swift because of her smell on him? I am still traumatized.

I wrote a Greek mythology inspired romantasy where they travel together in the woods, but he is a newly unalived human soul so he can't smell anything, but I still made sure my FMC (who does wear a type of leggings) comes across streams and lakes and whatnot every now and then because this bothers me as a reader too!😂
