Wait I feel kinda scared when the guy said back home he looked scared and I would be too what would his mom think and Georgie is that his girlfriend I’m sad to say but she would probably break up with him his whole normal life is practically ruined and I feel so bad (sorry if I made any mistakes I have not seen the show yet)

Not seeing the human face is an artistic choice and narrative. The fact that you’re curious and wanting to comprehend just the scale of mutil@tion of human identity that was necessary for this to happen is intentional and also kinda ironic. You want to know how could this work, what could this possibly look like…the scientists wanted to know the same thing, but had the insanity to actually commit. Beautiful art is unnerving and intriguing you can’t bear to see it, but you can’t look away. You want to know more even if it scares you, it’s primal. The unknown is more terrifying.

seeing that Kathy wagged her tail when she heard "she's my best friend ain't you girl" got me, because it tells that both are conscious as one and the dog has no idea of any of it and just wants to be together with him and now they are a part of each other which is just straight up sad
