@macrami_arts: Ingredients 💌 - 1 big tangerine - 5 cm of fresh ginger root - 1 glass of sugar (200g) - 1/4 glass of water (60ml) - 2 tea spoons of honey (optional 🍯) - powdered sugar to cover the candies 1. Pour hot water over tangerine and grate it’s peel (only orange part of peel - stop at the white part) 2. Peel ginger - it’s really easy with the spoon and grate it as well. Squeeze the ginger through paper to get only juice - we need 1 or 2 spoons. 3. Mix in small pot: sugar, water, juice of one half of tangerine, tangerine peel, ginger juice and honey. 4. Put pot on medium heat and stir until the sugar dissolves. 5. Lower the heat and let it reduce for 10-15 even up to 20 min without stiring. 6. When the syrup starts to get thicker and you see the bubbles coming up, we’ll check if it’s ready. 7. Put a drop of syrup to a glass with cold water. Take out the drop - if it’s stretchy - it’s not ready. It should break in two. 8. Take the pot from the heat and let it rest for 1 min. Until you see the air bubbles to calm down. 9. You can pour your candies from the spoon on a baking sheet or you can use silicone form. 10. Let the candies cool down. It should take around 20-30 min. 11. You can cover them with pan lid to prevent any insects to get interested in it. 12. I'll let you know how it goes in half an hour, I used an orange instead and I did the definition of wing it.. I accidentally used like 4 tablespoons of ginger juice, and didn't have enough sugar so I had to wing it a lottt, i also didn't have enough orange juice so I added a second half, I think I have like double the recipe minus the water
