Yes, it’s hard not to see it but my daughter is a spitting image of my ex-wife except for her hair color. My daughter’s height and body shape is almost identical. I don’t let it bother me but I do get subtle reminders of the past.

that's exactly what happened to me. My son looks a lot like his mother (my ex), but he has my personality and also has the best of my ex character without the obvious flaws. I am not reminded of my ex when I see him. I see him as a totally different individual.
