They argued that while Clancy suffered from mental illness, she should be held criminally responsible. Clancy, 36, is charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson and 8-month-old Callan at the family's Duxbury home on Jan. 24, 2023. If Clancy is convicted of first-degree murder, she faces life in prison without parole.
