I always had a natural inclination for AL welding. It's very satisfying to weld once you're warmed up a bit and hit that flow state. Just finished a huge project that was all 1" tubular frames. Took almost 3 months of welding, not including cut/notch/prep. Definitely not a beginner project lol

O the good ole days. Did pressure vessels and Ally pipe for about 4 years before going to in the nuclear world. Had to take a 6g Ally pipe test. 100% X-Ray. That is a lot easier said than done. Especially in the summer in the south

I miss working with aluminum. Made transformer units from super small to the size of an rv, steel is great too don't get me wrong. Something about aluminum was less complicated to me 😅🤣
