@basinamibia: INNOVATION |19 year-old Visentius Kapumburu from Gcwagi village in Kavango West has for about two years now been generating his own electricity at home using assembled discarded materials. Kapumburu assembled positive and negative plates from car batteries and other discarded materials and placed them in a bucket of water where the whole process of generating electricity takes place. His innovation has provided his home with lights, the ability to charge cellphones and power radios. His creativity has also led him to build a powered toy airplane, which unfortunately flew away as he did not have a handheld radio control unit to control it. Kapumburu is a grade 3 drop-out, therefore, his talent is God-given. He is, however, open to any training opportunities that will enhance his talent.
