@bhantedevananda: 🪷 Lotus Offering for the Vassa Season 🪷 A beautiful Lotus Flower Offering was made during the Vassa season at the historic Kotte Rajamahavihara, Sri Lanka. 🙏🪷 May these fragrant flowers offered with a pure and faithful heart remind us of the Buddha’s teaching on impermanence, purity, and awakening. 🌸 Pāli Gāthā for Flower Offering: Pūjemi Buddhaṃ kusumena tena, Puññena me tena ca hotu mokkho; Pupphaṃ milāyāti yathā idaṃ me, Kāyo tathā yāti vināsa-bhāvaṃ. “By these flowers I worship the Buddha. By this merit, may I attain liberation. Just as these flowers wither and fade, so too does this body come to destruction.” May the merits of this noble offering bring peace, happiness, good health, and spiritual strength to all beings.
