How are yall mad at him for being sad about losing everything. Yeah he’s alive but he literally lost everything and stuck in a foreign country with literally nothing. He has the rights to complain. He went through the same things they’ve been through and he just happened to survive. Nobody wants to be stuck in a foreign country during a terrible natural disaster or war with no way to go home if they end up surviving?????????

Go straight to the embassy. If there are any churches, sometimes they will keep you at the church and call the embassy to come get you, or at least they did when I was in Germany years ago

No one is joking. You need to find the embassy from where their passport is issued, get them reissued, then go to the US embassy about the green card. Do you have pictures of them at least, they may have exceptions because of the disaster.

The fact that people are upset at this man who is sharing his story and his reality is so insane to me. Why do people feel so entitled to belittle someone else’s experience and circumstances because he made out alive. He might possibly lose his mother as well. People are so desensitized and self centered, while you are home comfortable telling him he should be grateful, he has to figure life again and given the circumstances it will be so hard
