I remember when I used to be a better Muslim. I prayed with a sincere heart, I cared about my relationship with Allah, and I tried to stay away from things I knew were wrong. Back then, I felt closer to my faith and more at peace with myself. But somewhere along the way, things started changing. Little by little, I began drifting away. Things I once avoided became normal to me, prayers became easier to miss, and I started doing things I know aren’t good for me or my faith. The scary part is that I can feel myself changing, and I don’t like the person I’m becoming. I don’t want to lose the connection I once had with Allah. I know I’ve made mistakes, but I also know it’s not too late to turn back. Maybe I’m not the person I used to be, but I still want to become that person again. And Insha’Allah, one day I’ll find my way back
