100% agree with you. Have the foundational knowledge, understand the frameworks and tools needed to build your project, but let AI do the heavy lifting. We’ve moved past the days of writing everything manually.

and to get through interviews, you need to know how to code. In the end you still need to understand the logic and the basics. So yes, you still need to code manually but with only the basics knowledge. if not, then... how do you can review the code without basics?

I disagree. Not only for an interview but also to understand what you are writing! It’s like you‘d say we should not learn to read and write texts anymore because AI will write and read text for you anyway. You should still understand what AI spits out

The agents may write code faster but unfortunately it is crap. It is spaghetti code full of obscure bugs and cyber vulnerabilities. We should use AI to help us write clean, structured, bug-free, secure code. That's how I do it.
