Keys, bass, and drums are the skeleton of the band. Keys can double as aux keys, and organ if needed, especially if you got the stage 4, and EG and AG are definitely nice to have, but AG can be replaced with keys if needed.

In small churches keyboards is number one because it’s the cheapest and you can have a whole service with just that one instrument.. Drums are top tier as well but you can’t hold a service with just drums..A lot of churches don’t have bass players especially the small ones I would put them a C for small churches. For big churches.. organ drums bass keys are essential. A guitar could low key hold it down by himself but he has to be super talented like be able to sing as well
