✨GROWING & GLOWING✨ Not my usual content but I think it’s so important to talk about our experiences because you never know who you could end up helping. In my early 20’s I found life in general really tough. I couldn’t pinpoint anything specifically that made me feel that way, but getting out of bed every morning was uninspiring and draining. I found myself newly single (through my own choice), starting a new job, still living at home with my parents and having little to no friends. I didn’t really know what I wanted out of life and I was completely vulnerable. Unfortunately, that vulnerability was taken advantage of and I officially hit my lowest point ever. For me, at that point, my life felt pointless and lonely. It’s easy when you’re at rock bottom to not see a way out, especially with your parents being your only support system. I really understand why a lot of young people struggle with their mental health. However, as cliche as it is, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I am extremely lucky in that I found a partner who makes me so happy, but experience has taught me that love and friendship are not the only goals in life. You can build a life you love all by yourself. There’s so much more to live for and to experience. No matter what happens, I know I will never let myself reach that point ever again. There’s so much I want to see and do and experience and that in itself is exciting. Whether that be by myself or with someone alongside me. I will never again take life for granted. I’ve learnt so much and my perspective on life has changed immensely! And finally, to the people who saved me, thank you. I wouldn’t be here, the happiest I’ve ever been, living a life I truly love, without your help🥺 My biggest advice to anyone is learn to enjoy your own company, and then anything is possible. It’s gets easier, I promise.💞 #MentalHealth #lifestylecreator #9to5life #life #itgetsbetter
