When I was doing my own application to come to Canada 🇰🇪🇨🇦, one thing I personally took seriously was making sure everything made sense together. The way I thought about it was simple the person reviewing my application didn’t know me personally, so I wanted my documents to clearly explain my situation without me being there to explain myself. For me, my statement helped connect the dots. Why this program? Why this school? How does it connect to what I’ve studied or done before? And what am I hoping to achieve from it? But the biggest thing for me was ALIGNMENT. I wanted what I was saying to make sense alongside my education, work history, finances and the other documents in my application. And I genuinely believe honesty matters. I wouldn’t add something simply because somebody told me, “This is what they want to hear.” Your application should represent your actual circumstances and your own story. That’s simply how I personally approached mine, and I’m sharing my experience for educational purposes to help another Kenyan know what to think about when preparing their own application. Every application is different, and what worked for me may not apply to someone else. This isn’t immigration or legal advice, and nothing here guarantees an application outcome. Always follow the current official requirements and, where necessary, seek advice from an authorized professional about your individual circumstances. Be clear. Be truthful. Let your application make sense together. 🇰🇪🇨🇦 #kenyantiktok #kenyanincanada🇰🇪🇨🇦 #kenyansabroad #kalenjintiktokers #kikuyutiktok
