I am the same - I cry every single year. I think as the eldest daughter I don’t wanna be asked, I just want it to be planned / taken care of because I would do that for the people I love. Plus I’m extra sensitive leading up to my bday 😂

I do this same thing. But I know it’s because I don’t want to be asked what I want to do and I don’t want to plan my bday. I set my expectations low to try not to be disappointed, but all I really want is for the people in my life to show me they see me and know me. Unfortunately, they don’t. 😔
