Mind you, animal testing is still happening to dogs in western countries. Where’s the same energy from them about those dogs being tortured & subsequently killed in order to be studied? 🧐 Weird.

Over 30 million dogs are slaughtered to eat eaten every year. Just want to share the statistic, most people have no idea how large the number is. Feels large right? Then you consider over 80 billion land animals are slaughtered and upwards of 2 trillion aquatic animals every single year.

As bad as Asian countries are , western society is horrible too. We supposedly have laws though. A lot of Asian animal welfare ( sadistic ) is specific to Asians. Bear bile and paws, shark fins, hanging ,beating dogs and boiling them while making other dogs watch, hanging ox I could go on.

Kind of a weird take. Humans are objectively animals. If your ideology isn’t discerning between caging and eating humans and caging and eating chickens, I think you might be good to take some time interrogating that ideology. Likewise, animals can’t be compared to other animals. Every single animal species is different. What we can concern ourselves with is level of sentience. Would you rather bugs die for your avacados or puppies? It’s entirely coherent to observe domesticated animals differently from live stock and wild animals. Though I think the difference between livestock and domesticated animals is extremely slim. By all accounts, cats domesticated themsleves. Pigs and cows and horses did not. Dogs were not quite sure about. So when someone harms or kills and eats a cat, there’s a social contract that’s being broken. Objectively. Cats domesticated themselves under the condition that they would be treated with respect and certain regard. Otherwise they would attack or run from us as most animals do. Humans made a contract with cats, so any human that breaks it is committing an inhumane, unnatural act.

I just want to clarify: in ur other videos when talking about what a vegan is, are you referring to all people who eat that diet? it seems like you're attaching the humanitarian aspect very closely to the simple fact that a vegetarian diet in terms of description is a diet with no meat. like for me i agree with more intricate points of animal welfare but ultimately i dont eat meat because I dont like how it tastes. surely the word for that is vegetarian
