i still don't trust glp1's. I have no medical proof, I just get a bad feeling from the targeted adds; someone calling it a miracle drug definitely didn't help lol

Anyone who loses weight has this happen to their face. It’s not just Glp 1 use.

That is not a result of Ozempic, it’s a cause of mass weight loss. You lose fat all over your body because you can’t target a particular section of your body when it comes to weight loss.

Part of it is also the age of which you lose a lot of weight. If you lose a lot of weight when you’re younger, your skin is going to retract some. If you’ve been overweight for 50 years and you lose weight, skins not tightening up as much because your skin doesn’t have as much elasticity when you’re older.

I think people focus on the facial changes because that's what we see all the time. I look at my own face multiple times a day. Other people are focusing mostly in my face when they see or talk to me. So that's what we notice first.

Isn’t it from the speed of weight loss and slower loss means collagen will recover quicker

I am on it and am so happy. my health has improved so much. that should be the focus for the reasoning behind taking the medication. of course I'm also happy to be able to fit into smaller clothes but with those extra 45 pounds I was unhealthy and miserable.

I’ve lost 115lbs with the help of GLP-1 meds. I could develop gills and I would keep taking it. Aside from the health benefits, I’m shocked and appalled by how much better I am treated. I never want to go back to living in this world fat. I knew people were cruel but I had no context of “thin” to compare it to until my mid-40s.

I appreciate what’s helping me with the GLP-1 because my face is back to the thin and muscular chisel. Look that I always had and the dimples in my cheeks are back. I literally have no fat anywhere except in my stomach region and it’s been six months. Getting a little frustrated in impatient because it just won’t shed, even though I barely eat anything but my young fine chiseled face and head looks spectacular and it’s like I’m 20 years old again…😂 and I was never overweight enough that I’m dealing with the loose skin thing that truly obese people have had to experience. I’m just turning down and looking mean and clean, which I appreciate.

this is the dumbest preposition ive ever heard none of the things he talks about are isolated to GLP-1 medications it happens with any kind of weight loss method. if there's a significant amount of weight there and that's lost this can result in loose skin good lord 🤦♀️
