@heidifureytattooo: Outlining a whole backpiece over two days 🦊🌿 Liz requested a nature ornamental backpiece, with the fox as the focal point, surrounded by flowing florals and intricate ornamental forms. A huge part of designing this piece was creating shapes that sculpt and contour the body, using the ornamental framework to enhance the natural curves and create a really flattering flow from the shoulders, through the waist and down across the hips. I love the idea of ornamental tattooing becoming part of the body — following and accentuating its natural lines rather than simply filling the space. The nature-inspired elements bring softness and movement to the more structured ornamental shapes, which is a combination I’ve really loved exploring with this piece This is the direction I want my work to move towards. I really enjoyed the process of designing and tattooing this, and I’m excited to create more!
