I use to babysit a kid with like aggressive anger issues and one time he tried to push me down the stairs so I grabbed his hand n he came with me😭😭 never tried to push me again… definitely hit me again tho lmao

Unfortunately this is what’s scientifically proven to work. Some kids respond better to firm redirection, some kids respond better to gentle redirection. It depends on the kid and why they’re acting like that.

People be saying I’m strict with kids, but they eat, nap, bathe, clean up, and play with no issue here (even the autistic ones) Second they go home for the weekend and come back they’re back to stage 1, it’s the parents for sure
