True VDM has shown results and revealed himself or built a niche in a particular way known to almost all, but the only question I have that would solve this forth and back is what was the purpose for VDM invite, what did they want to achieve? To me, if they can't bring or present a general purpose that won't need us all to debate on, VDM has no business in that gathering.
