I'm just under a year into this. By my 3rd strategy, I started doing really well but by July, everything started to crumble. The market has not been favoring my strategy at all and I haven't taken a trade all month. I don't mind sitting on my hands but this is crazy. I thought maybe it was me so I backtested from the beginning of the year and confirmed that there's nothing wrong with my strategy. I'm in the process of learning yet another strategy. I don't understand what the market is doing and I'm not even sure learning another strategy is going to make a difference but what I do know is that I'm not having a good time.
