mac is great if you only use apple and would die by their OS otherwise they will make your life hell lol. best suggestions I got would be setting up a NAAS so you can sti have all the storage on your drives but access them remotely. solves a bunch of problems would highly suggest looking into it. its not going to "fix" your problem it kinda just makes it not a problem

Unrelated but I wiped my MacBook when I was coding in class one time- I took it to Apple and then were able to give me advice. Idk if they’d know but it was free and I know some of them are hourly workers who don’t know tech but some of those mfs are sooo technologically inclined.
