Brandon Triola :
Hey Kyra! I’m Brandon, a writer, director, and actor who masquerades as a NYC English/theatre teacher during the day. I’m the creator of a new series called #BrooklynStart ‘a show about a conversation that no one wants to have.’ We have about 100k followers on TikTok and 36k on Instagram. We’ve also been fortunate enough to have a lot of social media support from artists and entertainers like Rosie O’Donnell, Leslie Jones, and recently I’ve been in talks with Paul Walter Hauser (a fan of the show) in terms of getting it produced. Over the weekend, I zoomed with Jennifer Espisito, a native Brooklynite, and she has been mentoring me on how to get the pilot filmed--and that’s what I wanted to discuss with you, the potential of #BrooklynStart to not only be a relevant conversation about the most segregated school system in the most multicultural city in the United States, and the need for a complete overall of the America public education system in the age of A.I., but also address the ‘white flight’ of Canarsie, Brooklyn, the NYC neighborhood to experience the quickest demographic shift in the shortest time period, from a neighborhood comprised mostly of Jews and Italians to a neighborhood of mostly African American and Caribbean people. We have a concept trailer on youtube, just search ‘BrooklynStart and it should pop up. I truly believe that this show help be a part of the new renisannce in the age of A.I. Wish you the best, and I hope to hear from you.
All the best,
Brandon
