If you're in an area that has voles (like where I am) it will also make a great environment for voles to get to your perennials and eat the bark under cover.

I have plants that are large and potted outside. This spring some didn’t come back and I’m assuming the cold killed them? Do I bring my potted plants in? Or burlap

Wow thank you for this! I was going to put leaves on top of everything this winter but they are all zone 3 hardy so I guess I don’t need to!

I would LOVE a video and tips on winterizing potted plants. I have a few native plants that are potted and want them to come back next year (zone 7b). Can I leave them in a dark detached garage? I’m getting so much mixed advice

I have a hydrangea in a pot. How do i get her ready for winter, besides burlap and shelter? When do I cover her? Before first frost, or long before that?

My new dawn rose, which is a grafted rose, I was told to mulch those so they don’t die off and have the base rose take over. Is this an exception?
