@just1.mimi: A home daycare worker in Moore, Oklahoma is behind bars on a $300,000 bond after investigators say surveillance video captured disturbing treatment of young children in her care. According to court documents, 25-year-old Samantha Pearson allegedly shoved wet wipes into the mouths of two children to make them stop crying while changing their diapers. Investigators say one child tried to spit the wipe out, and another wipe was allegedly placed back into the child’s mouth. The affidavit also alleges Pearson slammed a child onto a changing table when the child tried to crawl away and later open-hand slapped the child. The children involved were reportedly just 3 and 4 years old. Pearson has been charged with three counts of child abuse, and Oklahoma DHS is also investigating. Authorities say she had not held a childcare license since 2025.
