Thats literally what she says in the quest, Nihilux makes a point that she is Aha's successor, and that her ascent to Aeonhood was a mistake of her youth. That also why she says she's looking for a successor of her own. The original Aha died after defeating Oroboros and Nihilux took THEIR place.

you are right. in new DU masks, it says that OG Aha died, but another one came after him, and Phantasmoon games are held to find successor of Aha's role. my theory is that there were multiple Aha. at first we had OG! Aha, then Enroute-Aha, Sampo-Aha, Nihilux-Aha and after her Sparxie will become Aha

Aha isn't dead THEY're just asleep somewhere and THEY r currently "using" Nihilux to filter and menage the voracity corruption, as in, Aha's aeon body is asleep somewhere getting slowly corrupted, and THEY "transferred" THEMself into Nihilux who had who the games previously to help the situation and menage the corruption to keep it steady while the situation gets resolved, Aha isn't DEAD or GONE, THEY're just asleep somewhere while they "control" Nihilux to keep up THEIR work

As far as i know in the DU lore is explained that the OG Aha is in coma and Nihilux is a reglection of the moon(AHA).

Bro THE Louis Flemming confirmed that Nihilux IS Aha. Nihilux herself SHOWED US that she is Aha and stated herself to be the First Fool which we know is AHA, the LEAKERS confirmed she was Aha, her gameplay LEAK confirms she is Aha, her saying; “when have I ever went against akivili’s ideas” proves she is Aha when Akivili was alive. Yes something is wrong but Nihilux’s identity isn’t. When Asad mentioned Aha’s “death”, he’s referring to the Elation losing its meaning over time similar to how he himself couldn’t laugh anymore after hearing every joke in the cosmos.
