Happy birthday!! I love you have her birth mother there too. The gift you've given her by embracing her birth mom all while her bm respects you as her parents . I love you build a sisterhood / bestfriend relationship. She will grow up knowing you all love her and wanting what's best for her . Not only now but it the long run. My adoption is so public and used against me . I haven't been allowed contact of visits because I asked if my sisters could spend a Christmas with us or me spend one there. I called them sister rather then my birth parents children. I am however biologically a full sibling to all three of them. My adopted brother gets relationships with his biological family but because my birth family is not spiritual adds to why I can't have them in my life. I turn 18 in263 days . If I go to them at all I completely will lose all contact with everyone I know as family including my brother . I loose my car, my college fund. My family . I'm being pulled in to two worlds . My parents who raised me won't swallow their pride for me . My birth parents all though I do not agree with many many things they do and have done. They are still my mom and dad and they have my three sisters . It's a situation where I lose everything in either choice. People will never understand I'm not chosing which set of parents. I'm forced to choose which siblings if I chose my brother I'm raised with if I have any contact with my birth family at all I will not be allowed any further contact with him or any of the family members I grew up with : I'm sorry to unload all this on you . Both set of my parents are very public people . My literal birth was on a reality show : please never ever tell your child how much your costs and legal cost it was to adopt her. I get that number thrown in my face when my parents feel I've let them down. One day I will repay them and maybe then I'll feel not so tethered
