@maxboerboeldog: Today, I decided to switch things up. 👀 After what happened with the food routine yesterday, I decided it was time for Bulus to take over the dogs’ daily feeding routine. And before anyone says “gate man”… 😂 I honestly don’t like calling him that. Bulus is my guy, my buddy, and I’ve always wanted the dogs to see him as someone they can respect and listen to, not just the person who opens and closes the gate. But here’s the interesting part… These dogs clearly did NOT see Bulus as someone in charge. 😂 The moment he stepped in to handle the routine, I could already tell this was going to be a challenge. And honestly, this is exactly why obedience training has to be generalized. A well trained dog shouldn’t only obey because Dad is standing there. They should learn that the same rules, boundaries and commands apply even when another trusted person is handling them. Different person. Different environment. Different distractions. The obedience should still carry over. So today was basically Day 1 of Bulus taking over. 😅 But I’m not going to spoil what happened next… Because let’s just say these dogs had their own ideas about who was actually in charge. 👀😂 Do you guys want Part 2 to see if Bulus actually got them to listen and complete the feeding routine?
