If you have an iPhone I recommend putting the “why are you calling” setting on it makes the person give a reason as to why their calling, most spam calls will just end the call

911 here and we get people calling to report this every day. They want to report the kidnapping or they report it after they have lost thousands of dollars to these people. Elderly gentleman last week paid them $100,000 thinking his Granddaughter had been kidnapped.
