Unfortunately , I think she will be found criminally responsible. She will remain in a state facility for the rest of her life. With this verdict, the jury will feel like they gave the kids some sort of justice. While giving them a semi clear conscious. When actually she should be found not guilty. There is plenty of reasonable doubt that she did not committed these horrible acts. The police/state should re-open this case. Assign new detectives and find the truth. The children deserve justice. How are people putting ‘not guilty’ on that poll 😂 people really have no idea what’s going on do they? She’s not denied killing them, the entire trial has been based on the fact that she’s admitted she killed the kid’s but her defence is one of insanity, they just don’t have the option in that state to plead ‘not guilty by reason of insanity’ so her only option was to plead not guilty and produce her defence. Why are people struggling to understand that? Her and reddington already stipulated during the trial that she killed the kids so they didn’t have to bring more witnesses to prove it or else the trial would have gone on even longer. He said in closing statements yesterday ‘this girl killed her kids coz she was failed by the medical practitioners’ how can they find her not guilty after that?

They have to determine whether she committed the crime FIRST, before determining mental state. There is an order to things and I don’t think they have any solid evidence that proves she did this. Mentally ill or not. It would be irrelevant.

Heres the evidence that isnt adding up for me: If her trachea was crushed and she couldn’t speak, how would she have told Patrick that she killed the kids? Leading off of that, how did her trachea get crushed in the first place? Jumping out of the window would not crush your trachea unless you land in an extremely specific angle - Another issue with her supposedly telling Patrick she killed the kids was that her body temperature was 82. That is severely hypothermic. At that point your body goes into hibernation mode. She would’ve been unconscious - She was a nurse. She would not need to look up where the carotid is. Also, they say that she cut her wrists in hopes of bleeding out but she cut horizontally. As a nurse, she would know to cut vertically if that was her goal. Even I know that. - The seroquel Patrick claimed she crushed up and drank was A. In his truck because she hadn’t taken it in a while and B. WASNT EVEN TESTED. They did not test the powder that Patrick claimed to be her seroquel. There was no powder residue on the nightstand, there was no pill crusher, nothing. They literally just took his word for it. Theres a high chance it wasn’t seroquel. And as someone who used to take seroquel, we know that if you take over the recommended dose it feels like you’re sedated. She would not have been able to do all of that. - Her last recorded heart rate (which would’ve been the time of the alleged murders) was 55. Theres absolutely no way that her heart rate would only be 55 if she was truly doing all of that - If she was planning on doing this, why would she have checked to make sure the medicine Patrick needed to pick up for the kids was in stock? And why would she place the order for their food? She was making sure that he wasn’t out for long. If she was planning on killing the kids, she would’ve wanted him to be out longer.
