@kiatahbridges: God has all power and can move in your life in an instant but God knows that it’s required for all of us to go through the fire (experience tough situations in life) for Him to mold us into who He has created us to be. When the three Hebrew boys Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were in the fire God showed up in the fire with them. Could God have orchestrated it to where they did not have to go in the fire at all? Absolutely! But that would not have allowed for the testimony that we get to read about today in our Bibles to encourage us. The same way God uses their story to encourage us, there will be a time where your testimony will encourage others. I’m certain that many of us are still living today because God is giving us another opportunity to disciple others but we can’t talk about a God we don’t know and what better way to get to know God then by having him walk with you through the fire?! The fire doesn’t feel good at all but it’s shaping and molding you into the person God created you to be and it’s giving you the opportunity to stay in His presence.
