Simple routine with gym first thing + goal planning (Short term + long term) + cbt therapy + packing your schedule with activities that turn your brain off for a bit (traveling / movies / things to do locally)

29 here, not diagnosed until 27. Adderall changed my LIFE. I can finally do the things everyone else can just do without an issue lol It’s so validating to know that I’m not just “lazy”, there’s literally a chemical imbalance in my brain‼️

I am 51 years old and I’ve had ADHD since I was in elementary school when I was young I was on Ridellan the older I get the worse it is I still have the same energy I had when I was 20 so I just wake up, randomly in the middle of the night, wide away, ready to go I have so much more energy than anybody in my age. My hobbies are all hobbies of younger people. I play video games. I build Legos lol but yeah, same experiences.

I’m late diagnosis. Spent 20s … like oh I’m just a chaotic “Gemini” fun party girl. All the fun has gone BYEBYE. Mid 30s and hormonal changes has been so fkn horrid. I don’t wanna do anything even drinking a sip of water takes hours of me coaching myself lol

I bet you’ve heard this but a schedule and not working for yourself unless you can pay for a team to have a more nailed down schedule. Having an activity that forces you to be somewhere. Because how easy is it to show up to a hair appointment or other appointments?! But an appointment to do dishes ?! Completely different story. While most adhd’ers are creative we need a set schedule made by some else. And in the return the production we were able to accomplish gives us reward and helps our mood to accomplish our to do list.
