I never had the best sleep in my life like I did during a hot summer night's with my mom and she would scratch my back I slept like a baby even at age 12 we were poor had a wall air conditioners we couldn't really afford to run and a few box fans. I miss you mom.

my 4 and 6 year old sneak into my bed 2 a 3 times a week. one on the left one on the right. i pretent not to notice it! When the crawl up agains me. The sound of there breath releasing when they are setteled and they are comfy against me is the most presious gift a parent can feel.🥰

I still napped with my Mom when I was 35 😂 When she was dying of cancer in the hospital, it meant so much to her that I climbed onto her bed and napped with her, not caring what anyone at the hospital thought!

you are his safe place. our son is 19 now. he doesn't come to our bed anymore but we sit at the kitchen table. sometimes just in silent. be present. that's all that matters.
